It's alive....it's alive!!!

The modern day Frankenstein of computers designed for the creative individual, has finally seen a facelift. 
I'm so excited that, this morning, Apple quietly upgrade a whole slew of hardware including the Mac Mini, Macbook, wireless multi-touch mouse and of course...the iMac!

The iMac 24" has been my preferred work machine for the past couple years now and she's seen better days that's for sure.  So as usual, when I feel the upgrade is sufficient enough to justify buying a new one, which is almost always is, I go out a buy one.

My choice?  I am going to have to go all the way on this one and go with the new iMac 27" quad core i5. That's going to be absolutely massive sitting on my desk.  However it's my Hal of the household.  Centralized server running wireless speakers and video throughout the house, my iMac plays an integral part of everyday life whether work or play.

This is epic! I am so pumped to get this thing in my grubby little hands. What a pleasure it will be for design work on a screen of that size. 
And now the wait begins....
