His name is “Aaron Guti”, he had 202 new friends. Until yesterday, officials accounted for 484 contacts in the social network – the majority are women who write love messages.

The prisoner used the account to show his life in prison for young adults in La Reforma, where he is serving 15 years worth deducted from the November 30, 2009.

The publications were done usually at night or early morning, with the apparent lack of prison authorities.

Asked by La Nacion, the Director of Social, Eugenio Polanco, said he ordered an investigation because it is prohibited to use cellphones and hence the Internet.

“Aaron” usually shared reggae music videos obtained from the website YouTube. The Facebook account also has two albums with 21 photos, some were taken in the detention center with his companions, who also was observed with cell phones.

The prisoner reflects his mood, communicated with family, writing thoughts and thank those who come to see the prisoner over the weekend.
