Steep Fines For Smoking in Bars
it is very common in bars and restaurants in the country, accompany a beer with a cigar.

Municipal Inspectors Group and the Ministry of Health made rounds in restaurants and bars to ensure that the law is enforced.
The person who smokes will have to pay a fine of 21 000 and the business owner has to pay 105 000 .
The merchant who sells cigarettes in places where no smoking will have to pay a fine of 2.1 million colones.
In the country 73% of smokers are men and 27% women.
But what worries Costa Ricans most is that more and more teenagers are joining the list.
These measures are applied in several European countries where addiction tosnuff decreased greatly.
The bill has the support of most MPs and this Wednesday it is going to be ready to move to first reading in the Legislative Assembly
