The latest film by acclaimed producer M. Night Shyamalan, from Signs and The Sixth Sense, is set to begin filming in Costa Rica on February 6th.

The film is called After Earth.

Starring in the film will be Will Smith alongside his real life son, Jaden Smith who will also play his onscreen son in the film.

The movie will be set in the future where humans can no longer remain living on Earth after it becomes inhospitable.

As usual, Will Smith will be playing a hero with his son Jaden Smith, playing a failed warrior and onscreen son in the film. In the film, the two crash land on an “alien planet” that happens to be Earth and it becomes Jaden’s challenge to save his father.

The site’s in which they will be filming has yet to be announced but you can be sure that once it has, we will be reporting it here.
