FINALLY! iPhone 4S is Released in Costa Rica

The countdown is over. As expected, dozens of people waited anxiously for several hours, to Kölbi stores, Claro and Movistar, opened its doors at midnight to first acquire the latest model of Apple, the iPhone 4S.

ICE shops had quite the attendance, despite the unusual hour (12am). In San Pedro, near midnight, about 150 ticos were waiting to buy the new phone.

In Multiplaza Escazú, at the same time, there were approximately 80 people wait at Kölbi in Plaza Real, Alajuela. Another case was in the store in Paseo Colón, where there were fewer than ten people for the sale at 12am.

Meanwhile, in the local 2nd Avenue Movistar there were about 15 people waiting in anticipation.
