Public Universities Started Enrollment

Four public universities already started the registration process for freshmen.

The Technological Institute of Costa Rica (ITCR) will have today the registration for extraordinary admission from 7:30 a. m. to 4:30 p. m., in all its branches.

William Vives, director of admissions and registration of the university, said that the extraordinary enrollment will be Friday from 8 a. m. to 3:30 p. m. In that university, the course starts on Monday February 6.

Meanwhile, students who won the entrance examination at the National University (UNA) can apply for admission today, said Francisco Gonzalez, vice president academic.

In the UNA classes also will start on February 6.

Meanwhile, the State Distance University (UNED) the registration process closes on Sunday, said Luis Guillermo Carpio Malavassi rector.

The semester will begin on Monday January 31, he said.

Carlos Villalobos, from the University of Costa Rica (UCR), explained that the pre-registration will be from February 10 to 14, and enrollment from the 20 to 23 of that month. Classes begin on March 5.
