Youth Accidentally Shoots Himself

Geancarlo Blanco Espinoza, 19 years old, accidentally shot himself in the face.

The incident occurred yesterday, at 3:30 p. m., at his home in Jalaca de Osa.

According to authorities, the young man was manipulating a gun 38 caliber when he accidentally shot himself in the right side of the eye.

Blanco was taken in an airplane to Alajuela and from there was taken to the San Juan de Dios Hospital in San Jose, in stable condition.
