In a letter that was sent yesterday to officials, the president of the CCSS Ileana Balmaceda informs them that the entity will pay the salary school on next Friday.

The entity will pay to each employee an amount close to 8.19% of the salary. The Social Security Fund (CCSS) rectified that the payment is assumed by the institution itself.

On Friday the CCSS will make a payment of ¢ 53.086 million to 52,042 people, says the letter. In the past the agency has reported that its payroll is of 48,000 employees.

Moreover, in its letter, the chief said that “it is no secret that last year was one of the most complicated in the institutional life and that we must continue traveling along a path that allows us to balance the income with expenses”.
