Apple opened its “iTunes Match” function in Costa Rica and 18 other countries around the world. This was announced through its website.

The service was already active in Brazil since mid-December and the United States since October.

“iTunes Match” makes the user’s own music to be available anywhere. For $ 24.99, “Match” analyzes the iTunes library that the user has and copies it in icloud, so it can be access from any computer, iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and Apple TV.

If in the music library there are songs that were not purchased at the store, then “Match” will search for it in their catalog and replaces it with an authorized copy.

In addition to Costa Rica, starting today “Match iTunes” is also available in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Lithuania, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela.
