Paquera Residents Without Drinking Water

Damage to the mother pipe that supplies the community of Paquera has the neighbors without water since last Wednesday. The villagers have sought assistance from the AyA Authorities, but still not solve the fault.

“This is a big problem, because being so many days without water it worries us. We went to the municipality and to the AyA and haven´t give us any help or response. Many of us got water from neighbors that have water wells, but we are concerned because this is not 100% potable water” said Juan Raabe, Paquera neighbor.

According to neighbors, the crew of the AyA worked on Thursday in the pipeline, but they were unable to repair it.

Two neighbors are those that supply water to the people, because they have wells.

The town is expecting that the issue will be resolve in Monday.
