Security Company Owner Arrested for Auto Theft

The owner of a security company was arrested and shot in the leg last night when confronted by the security forces.

Police conducted an operation to apprehend those involved in the theft of a car by the method of bajonazo.

The incident occurred in Barreal de Heredia. The involved was identified as of last name Ruiz, 34 years old. In the police action was also captured a brother of Ruiz, 39 years old, and another man surnamed Martinez, informed the Ministry of Public Security.

This case began when four men robbed a Daihatsu Terios in the neighborhood Corazon de Jesus, Heredia. Daniel Calderon, chief of the forces in Heredia, said that after the alert the Toyota Yaris used by the suspects to commit the robbery was spotted in Barreal, whose occupants began a shootout with the police.

Near the site of the shooting was found in the garage of a house the Terios stolen. That house was raided and arrested a subject surnamed Mora. Also found two firearms.
